Two more things
Along with this concept of becoming self reliant I would love any input you have on two things. Growing a garden and canning the food from it. And sewing. I've never had the patience for the sewing, but what I need is a good teacher. If you have any suggestions or you could teach me, please contact me! I moved 8 hours away from one of the best ones I know dangit!

hey, not for long!!!! I decided that I am throwing myself into canning this year as well, so we can learn together, okay! Being down there you have access to good fruits and vegetables that you can't grow, for good prices, and we have lots and lots of people to go to for advice (mom, Janice, Frances, Grandma Buroker) but I know we can do it, let's commit to it, ok?
I would love to teach you to sew!!! Talk to me, and we can work something out!
